Colorway design.
At Genuine Scooters, I was tasked with changing the colors of the scooters. My goal was to create a cohesive look for the entire Buddy family by ensuring that all the colors had the same Chroma level. This made them more visually appealing when displayed together on the sales floor as they all "matched".
The Buddy Internationals pay homage to the European scooter trips of the 60s. Each International scooter color represents a popular geographic location. For example, the Italia features a two-tone olive green with grey accents, while the Pamplona showcases a tomato red and cream color scheme with brown accents. These scooters are some of the best selling scooters in Genuine's history and 13 years later, are still unchanged visually from the original concepts.
